For Teller County Commissioner District #2

Standing Firm for Liberty and the Constitution

Leadership Rooted in Community, Focused on Tomorrow

Teller County is a special place. Our rural character, strong communities, public lands, and respect for individual liberty are worth protecting.

My vision is straightforward: protect what makes Teller County special while preparing responsibly for its future.

As your County Commissioner, I will work to protect the life, health, and safety of Teller County residents by standing with our law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency responders, and the people who serve our communities every day.

As a fiscal conservative and lifelong business owner, I believe government has an obligation to respect the people who pay the bills. I will safeguard taxpayer dollars, demand accountability, maintain fiscal discipline, and work to ensure the successful completion of the capital projects already started by the current Board of County Commissioners.

I will stand firm for liberty, the Constitution, private property rights, and local control, while opposing unnecessary government overreach.

Our public lands are also part of the character and economy of Teller County. I will work with local, state, and federal partners to improve forest health and wildfire mitigation while protecting responsible access for hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, snowmobiling, and other recreational uses.

And I believe our elections must always be fair, honest, transparent, and worthy of the public's trust.

Teller County's motto is “Protect the Past. Embrace the Future.”

That is exactly how I intend to lead: respecting the people and traditions that built our county, protecting the freedoms and rural way of life we value today, and making responsible decisions that will keep Teller County strong for the generations that follow us.

I am a lifelong entrepreneur and small business owner. I launched my first business at 17, learning a strong work ethic from my father, Arthur, who was a foreman on the Twin Towers in New York.

Drawn by the love of hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors, I moved to Teller County in 2002. I am a proud father of two, grandfather of five, and husband to Shannon, who has twin boys.

Family Motto: Get out and enjoy life!

I grew up hunting and fly fishing in New York and continue those passions here in Colorado with my family. You can often find us enjoying the recreational use of our public lands, hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, and summitting Colorado’s majestic 14ers.
